MALE ELITE (16 participants) There are four basic groups, each of 4 participants. Teams are playing “once each-other” system. First and second team from each basic group is qualified to the two eight-final groups (each of 4 participants), which is again played by “once each-other” system, but results of the mutual matches from the basic groups are included. To the quarterfinal of play-off are qualified teams on the first, second and third place of each eight-final group. Teams on third and fourth place after basic groups play forround by “sudden death” system (one loss) for two places in quarterfinal of play-off. Play-off is played by “sudden death” system (one loss). Semi-final losers will not play bronze medal match.FEMALE ELITE (12 participants) There are two basic groups, each of 6 participants.
