The second women's elite semifinal didn't bring so many goals, but the more attractive it was. Both teams, Dalen as well as Vítkovice started rather carefully and the teams were maintaining their positions above all. The first half brought a power play at both sides, but they didn't bring a goal.
All the important things happened after the break only. Dalen was taking over the control of the game and their efforts were fruitful. In the tenth minute, Vítkovice were two goals down already and were facing the opponents' tough defence. In the end, the Swedes managed to add one more goal, again after a long pressure in front of the goal, where the defenders from Ostrava left too much free space for them.
"We are really looking forward to the tomorrow's grand finale. We are virtually excited by the tournament. We've played really tough games and mainly the Czech teams showed their very good level. In this game we had to work very hard as well," Urban Karlsson, Dalen's coach, paid compliments to the organizers of Chance Czech Open.
"Of course we want to win every game. But Herbadent will be the favourites tomorrow for sure. However, we definitely don't give up. We met in the group already and now we saw a part of the semifinal, so we want to sell our lives dearly," the Swedish coach added encouragingly.
