Grasshopper Zürich lost by one goal to the last year's Chance Czech Open winner, Dalen. Therefore, the Swiss team hasn't won a single point into the round of 16 table and in the evening game against their compatriots from Grünenmatt everything will be at stake.
Zürich started the game a bit better than the Swedes. Maffioletti scored with a one-timer in the ninth minute and opened the score of the game. "We paid for our poor finishing. Otherwise it was quite a tight game. Both teams played very well, but we should have simply converted some of our chances. Other than that we played a good game and if we met Dalen once again, we would beat them," said the captain of the Zürich team Alexander Bodén, who played against Dalen, his previous club, for the first time in his life.
"I really enjoyed playing against my friends. But it could have been even better, had we won. They're not much better than we are," Bodén added.
