Welcome among the men's elite: SV Wiler-Ersigen    (25. 7. 2010, florbal.cz)
Six titles of Swiss champions, triumph in the European cup, the two Hofbauer brothers well cooperating together, and the legendary Swedish defender Henrik Quist. That is the green-and-white mixture of the world's elite floorball, a guarantee of attractive spectacle, and an invitation to this year's Chance Czech Open with the signature of SV Wiler-Ersigen.

For the champions from Wiler, the summer Prague has become a traditional part of their summer preparatory period. In their six participations in Chance Czech Open the Swiss giant made it once to the final, where they lost against Dalen in 2005. Last year they did not succeed in the play-offs; they lost to Tatran, Dalen, and Pixbo, respectively, and were therefore eliminated in the quarterfinal already.

But currently, Wiler represents the best of Swiss floorball. In the past seven years they never missed the league final and together they won six Swiss titles. In their last final series they defeated Rychenberg in four games by 4:0.

In addition to their league successes, Wiler triumphed in the European cup in 2005 and added silver and bronze medals in the past two years.

The icons of the green-white machine from Bern are, above all, the Hofbauer brothers, who reigned in the individual statistics in the last year's play-off. The experienced goalie, Daniel Streit, represents reliability in the net as well as victorious mentality.

The spectators at Chance Czech Open will have an opportunity to see the new Wiler's acquisition, the legendary Swedish defender Henrik Quist, who moved to Switzerland after playing in the Göteborg team of Pixbo for a long time. In the defence of the Swiss champion, this excellent creative player can meet his teammate from the Tre Kronor national team, Olle Thorsell, who is a stable player in the jersey of Wiler.
