Start of the Revolution...    (15. 8. 2007, Western Australian Daily)
Tuesday night on Sparta's centre court, Australia's Revolution Sharks recorded their first victory on Czech soil. Challengers Star Dust, featuring Prague City Major, Pavel Bem, fresh from his successful Mt Everest climb, looked set to stamp on the flowers in the Sharks garden, scoring 2 unanswered goals in the first period.

However, the Sharks, with some players literally stepping off the plane and onto the court, began to show their teeth in the second period. The ball began to do the running and the boys in blue were lurking in front of goal and created more opportunities to score. And score they did, scoring 3 goals to 0 before the second break.

The third period evened up again, with Star Dust scoring 2 more goals, but not before the Sharks added another to their account through international floorball debutant, Ashley Ball. Ball had been knashing his teeth dangerously in front of the net for a period and a half, before finally finding the back of the net.

Founding Shark, Jan Juris, finished with 3 and the final score was 6:4 to the antipodeans. Congratulations to the Sharks and warm thanks to the boys from Star Dust. It was a pleasure to play against the hosts in such a fun and friendly game. The sharks look forward to sharing a beer with them sometime during the tournament.
