Is Pixbo going to win for the sixth times?    (10. 7. 2007, (9.7.2007, florbal.cz)) Pixbo Wallenstam. That is a phenomenon. A Swedish club that has its own memorial hall cram-full of cups and medals of all types, and also it has always the most significantly dominated among all teams at the summer Fortuna Czech Open. So, is this team going to experience its sixth title at this Prague tournament? First Fornudden and then Pixbo. Only two clubs managed to succeed more than once in the elite male category of the Fortuna Czech Open. However, in contrast to Fornudden the Foxes from Göteborg always literally dominated the summer Prague. During 2001-2003 they won a golden hat-trick and last primacy managed to win last year. There is no problem to introduce Pixbo Wallenstam. At home as well as at the international scene this club belongs to the absolute top within the last couple of years. Twice it won the Swedish title in the male category. In 2004 Pixbo added to it a triumph at European championships. Last year the Foxes finished before the final gates in the Swedish Elitserien. They broke its teeth on surprise of the qualification group Caperio Täby in the second round of play-off. The list of Pixbo Wallenstam was always as a hit parade of Swedish stars. However, before the new season two important persons parted with the club. A brilliant technical player, Peder Bodén decided to return to Dalen, and a phenomenal centre player, Adners Hellgård announced a definitive end of his career. But even without these famous names, Pixbo has enough to offer. The power of Pixbo is distributed to all posts. Last year, a young goalkeeper Christian Jurkiewicz who will celebrate his eighteenth birthday only this year enthused very much. In the defense a floorball superstar, Henrik Quist or a captain Daniel Dahl lead the play, and in the offense mostly Martin Dahlgren, Peter Runnestig or Daniel Johansson dominated. Also the look at other names on the list invites respect. It is likely that such strong selection under the lead of the coach Anders Jonsson will again head for a title. No doubt that the coach Jonsson knows well how to win Fortuna Czech Open again. During the last two years it had been just he who led Dalen and consequently Pixbo to the victory. photo: Martin Neužil
