Finns recast their first participation in the victory    (20. 8. 2007, (19.8.2007, florbal.cz – aLM, translated by Eva F Novak)) SSV managed masterfully to overplay Dalen from Sweden 3:0 and won this year Czech Open. Since the beginning the Finnish players were a bit more active team and more often threatened opponent’s goal. Dalen occasionally also shook, but it shot incorrectly or the goalkeeper was ready. The second third went in the same spirit and also didn’t bring any goal. The fate of the finals was decided during the first minutes of the last period. First the goalkeeper of SSV showed off by a great and very important save and then immediately Huhtimo scored his fourth goal at the tournament that finally showed as a crucial winning goal. When at time 2:56 Strömsten frizzled a net of Dalen’s goal he pleased SSV fans in the sports hall and brought his team near to the victory. Also very important were excellent saves of the Finnish goalkeeper and then in the eleventh minute, Mikael Järvi could finally close the account of the match. At the very end, Huhtimo managed to entertain the spectators when he crabbed a mop and dried a playing ground on his own. The victory of SSV discontinued a six-year-long series of triumphs of Swedish teams. Here you can watch the goals!
