The Czech Open DREAM - Day 3    (19. 8. 2007, Western Australian Daily) Hundreds of happy and friendly floorballers decended on Zlute Lazne again last night, after fighting it out with the opposition in the dozens of play-off games, quarter-finals and semi-finals. Only the top 4 in each division remain to continue on until Sunday. It's bad luck for them, because the tournament parties really only warm up as the clock approaches midnight, though some were already snoozing under the umbrellas a little earlier last night. Perhaps the long floorball days are very tiring for some? In an unprecedented match up, never before seen in world floorball, the Men's Elite final will be contested by a team from Sweden and a team from Finland!! All eyes will be on this match at T-Mobile Arena and those that can't fit in will be able to watch on Czech TV. But that's only after the glamour match of the Czech Open is played... an all Czech final will feature the team from Dekanka - including several players from the Tatran Stresovice team that merged 2 seasons ago - against the floorball stylings of TJ JM Chodov. Style and grace will be the highlight of this match, so you'd be as crazy as a girl from Liberec if you miss it!! The first of the all-Czech finals will be played this morning in the junior division, with SC SSK Vitkovice taking on the FBC Pepino Ostrava team. What a great opportunity these young players have to feature on the T-Mobile court. Good luck to the juniors! So, with day 3 done and dusted, most of the floorball bags are packed at the hotels and it's FLOORBALL FINAL ACTION TIME!!!
