Tapanilan started better and opened a score already at the start. Then came twp eliminations of the Finns and two goals rejoicing of Brno. However Brno’s lead lasted only till the next power play when Rissanen leveled. During the second time Tapanilan took a lead twice, but Brno managed to keep up and always leveled. A score 4:4 remained till the final buzz and so there had to be penalty shots. First series turned out badly on both sides. In the second series turned well on both sides. In the third series the Finns gained a lead, then in the next shot hit a goal post and Brno leveled. The fifth series was crucial. The Brno player overshot and therefore wasn’t able to reply to Finnish goal.
