The U19 players advanced from first place    (7. 8. 2004, drc) The Czech U19 national team went easily through the qualification group of this year's Czech Open. After the opening two victories, it started a last match in the qualification group against the Swedish Ersboda SK as a certain advancing team. Neither rest nor perhaps underestimation of the opponent was out of the question, and after the won opening face-off, they didn't even lend a ball to the Swedish lads. Already in the 27th second they could rejoice at their first goal. Jiri Vasicek presented himself by a cross shot in the opposite movement of the goalkeeper. The home players kept hammering the Swedish defense, however, not even an attempt of Jurcik, or Dohnal caused a goal. On the contrary, Waara overcame Marcel Suchanek in the goal of the Czech selection three minutes before the end. But not even a lost point foiled an advance of the Czech national team from first place. The Czechs will introduce themselves in the first round of play-off against Sokol Kralovske Vinohrady.
